Refusing to provide information

If you have received a request for information about an individual in recorded format (e.g. in writing), and are refusing the request, you should use model letter C for your reply.

Offering to pass on a message

In some cases when refusing a request, it might be appropriate to offer to pass on a message, in which case use the model text for passing on a message.
